Cardiff, Alabama is a small town located in western Jefferson County near Graysville and Brookside. Settled by a number of Italian, Scots, English and French settlers, Cardiff was once a bustling coal mining community and proud home to the Cardiff Primrose Soccer Club. Martha Mulkin wrote an excellent community history, Cardiff Family Circles, several years ago and Cardiff's history has been preserved well through that work. Cardiff is home to two cemeteries and you may follow the following link to an interment listing for Cardiff's white cemetery.
